The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is an outdoor amphitheatre on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, Florida, opened in 1965 to mark the city's 400th anniversary. After a 2018 expansion it holds more than 4,700 people and ranks among the country's busiest amphitheatres for touring concerts. Buddy Guy is a Louisiana-born Chicago blues titan whose slashing guitar influenced Hendrix and Clapton; an eight-time Grammy winner still touring in his 90s.
