The largest outdoor music venue in the Indianapolis metropolitan area, at Noblesville, Indiana, with 6,147 seats under a pavilion and 18,000 general-admission lawn places. It opened in 1989 as Deer Creek Music Center on a site along Sand Creek north of exit 210 on Interstate 69, built by Sunshine Promotions and now owned by Live Nation. Breaking Benjamin are a Pennsylvania hard-rock band led by Benjamin Burnley, whose brooding radio staples The Diary of Jane and Breath drove multi-platinum albums.
