Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is a 20,000-capacity outdoor amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Missouri, in the St. Louis suburbs. Opened in 1991 as the Riverport Amphitheatre — and later known as UMB Bank Pavilion and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater — it is the region's principal summer shed for major touring acts and remains notorious for the 1991 Guns N' Roses riot early in its life. Breaking Benjamin are a Pennsylvania hard-rock band led by Benjamin Burnley, whose brooding radio staples The Diary of Jane and Breath drove multi-platinum albums.
