Val Air Ballroom is a historic ballroom and live-music venue in West Des Moines, Iowa. A long-running dance hall turned concert room, it hosts touring bands across rock, country and indie. Big Thief are a Brooklyn indie-folk band led by Adrianne Lenker, whose intimate, exploratory albums U.F.O.F. and Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You earned Grammy nominations and rapturous acclaim.
