The Wiltern Theatre occupies the base of the Pellissier Building, a 12-storey Art Deco landmark set diagonally to the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue in Los Angeles and clad in blue-green glazed terracotta. The complex is considered one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the United States. The building is privately owned; the theatre is operated by Live Nation. Big Sad 1900 is a hip-hop/rap act.
