London's great Victorian rotunda, opened in 1871 in memory of Prince Albert. From the Proms to Adele, its 5,000-plus seats under the glass dome remain British music's most prestigious address. Bellowhead were an 11-piece English folk big band whose riotous arrangements of traditional songs, led by Jon Boden and John Spiers, won a record number of BBC Folk Awards.
