A historic theater at 620 T Street NW in Washington, D.C., open since 1910 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. Billed as the "Theater of the People," it was a cornerstone for African-American audiences and the great Black artists of the early-to-mid 20th century. After a major restoration, it reopened in 2012 with headliners including Chaka Khan. Arlo Parks is an English singer and songwriter, born Anaïs Oluwatoyin Estelle Marinho in 2000 and raised in Hammersmith, West London.
