Chalk is a live music venue on Pool Valley in central Brighton, England, a short walk from the seafront. Billed as one of the city's leading music venues, it hosts touring and emerging bands alongside regular club nights. Animals as Leaders are an American instrumental progressive metal band that began in Washington, D.C. in 2007 as a solo project by guitarist Tosin Abasi after his metalcore group Reflux disbanded.
