The Santa Barbara Bowl is a 4,562-seat outdoor amphitheatre in Santa Barbara, California, booked by Goldenvoice and run since 1991 by a not-for-profit foundation. Open roughly April to October, it stages about two dozen popular-music concerts each season in a hillside setting. Alabama Shakes are a soul-rock band from Athens, Alabama fronted by Brittany Howard's volcanic voice; Boys & Girls and the Grammy-winning Sound & Color made them one of the great modern live acts.
