A botanical garden, arboretum and amphitheatre in the Wasatch foothills of Salt Lake City, operated by the University of Utah and open to the public year-round. Its grounds cover more than 100 acres of gardens, with hiking trails through native vegetation and Red Butte Creek running through the north. The outdoor amphitheatre is its stage for live music. Alabama Shakes are a soul-rock band from Athens, Alabama fronted by Brittany Howard's volcanic voice; Boys & Girls and the Grammy-winning Sound & Color made them one of the great modern live acts.
