Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is a 20,000-capacity outdoor amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Missouri, in the St. Louis suburbs. Opened in 1991 as the Riverport Amphitheatre — and later known as UMB Bank Pavilion and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater — it is the region's principal summer shed for major touring acts and remains notorious for the 1991 Guns N' Roses riot early in its life. Alabama Shakes are a soul-rock band from Athens, Alabama fronted by Brittany Howard's volcanic voice; Boys & Girls and the Grammy-winning Sound & Color made them one of the great modern live acts.
