The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater is a 5,500-seat outdoor concert venue on the waterfront in Bridgeport, Connecticut, opened in 2021 on the site of the former Ballpark at Harbor Yard. The minor-league baseball stadium was rebuilt into an amphitheatre for touring summer concerts. Alabama Shakes are a soul-rock band from Athens, Alabama fronted by Brittany Howard's volcanic voice; Boys & Girls and the Grammy-winning Sound & Color made them one of the great modern live acts.
