The Congress Theatre is a Grade II* listed theatre and conference venue in the seaside town of Eastbourne, East Sussex, seating 1,689 and ranking among the largest theatres in southern England. Built between 1961 and 1963 and reopened after a major refurbishment in 2019, it stages touring West End productions, ballet, opera, comedy and live music. Alastair James Hay Murray, born on 10 May 1968, is an English comedian.
