The Barnyard format is a tribute-show house: full-band productions celebrating a era or an artist, played to a room with a fully stocked bar, a coffee and snack bar and an in-house pizza deli, with food and drinks orderable before the show rather than queued for during it. Adam Tas is an Afrikaans singer-songwriter from the Cape whose sokkie-rock hits and festival sets have made him a mainstay of the Afrikaans live circuit.
