A 300-capacity venue, pub and café in a former flax spinning mill on Lime Street, in Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley. It shares the building with artists, studios and offices, and turns up regularly on the World's 100 Best Bars list — a room that works as well at 3pm as it does mid-set. A Certain Ratio are a Manchester post-punk/funk band formed in 1977 and an early signing to Factory Records, whose punk-funk grooves influenced generations of dance-rock.
