Still a social enterprise with its community-club soul intact, its two 400-cap rooms host everyone from cult heroes to arena acts playing secret shows. A Certain Ratio are a Manchester post-punk/funk band formed in 1977 and an early signing to Factory Records, whose punk-funk grooves influenced generations of dance-rock.
