Xscape are an American girl group from Atlanta, formed in 1990 by Kandi Burruss, Tamera Coggins, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle and the sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, who met at Tri-Cities High School in East Point, Georgia. They were invited to sing at Jermaine Dupri's birthday party in 1991, and he signed them to his So So Def label. Their debut Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha arrived in 1993 and went platinum on the strength of "Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding"; Off the Hook followed in 1995 with "Feels So Good" and "Who Can I Run To", and Traces of My Lipstick in 1998. They have sold more than twelve million records in the United States and scored six top-ten Billboard Hot 100 songs.
