Wynonna Judd

Wynonna Judd is an American country singer born May 30, 1964, in Ashland, Kentucky. She first rose to fame in the 1980s alongside her mother Naomi in the duo The Judds before launching a solo career on Curb Records after the pair disbanded in 1991. Drawing on country, blues, pop and gospel, she opened her solo run with three consecutive number-one singles, "She Is His Only Need," "I Saw the Light" and "No One Else on Earth," and went on to score 19 number-one singles across her career. Several of her albums earned multi-platinum certification, and in 2022 she was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame as a member of The Judds. She continues to perform with her band, Wynonna & the Big Noise, formed in 2011.
