Will Parker is a singer-songwriter from Scunthorpe, signed to Capitol Records at 21. His subjects are the place he comes from: small-town life, industrial backdrops and the emotional realities of the working class. The sound he sets them to pulls indie together with vintage soul, country and alternative rock, which is a wide brief for a writer this early on, and it reads as the point rather than an accident.
