Vukovi come from Kilwinning in North Ayrshire and are built around singer Janine Shilstone and guitarist Hamish Reilly. They were called Wolves until Shilstone auditioned in 2010 and shifted the sound enough that the name went too — Vukovi is Serbian for wolves, so the idea survived the change. The albums have come at a steady clip since: the self-titled debut in 2017, Fall Better in 2020, Nula in 2022 and My God Has Got A Gun in 2025.
