Vince Staples

Vincent Jamal Staples, born on 2 July 1993, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and actor who first became known through appearances on projects by Odd Future members and affiliates, including Earl Sweatshirt's Earl and Doris. He signed to Def Jam's ARTium Recordings and released the EP Hell Can Wait in 2014, then Summertime '06, Big Fish Theory, FM!, Ramona Park Broke My Heart and Dark Times. In 2026 he released Cry Baby, his first album as an independent artist and his debut for Loma Vista Recordings. His music is West Coast hip-hop with conscious subject matter over avant-garde, dance and electronic production.
