Valerie June

Valerie June is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born January 10, 1982, in Jackson, Tennessee. She weaves together Americana, folk, blues, soul and gospel into what she calls "organic moonshine roots music," playing guitar, banjo and ukulele. Her breakthrough album, Pushin' Against a Stone (2013), was co-produced with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, and 2017's The Order of Time landed on Rolling Stone's year-end best-albums list. In 2021 she earned a Grammy nomination for Best American Roots Song, and Bob Dylan named her among artists he admired. Her catalogue continues with Owls, Omens and Oracles (2025). A seasoned performer, she tours globally and has shared stages with Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Brandi Carlile and John Prine, bringing her distinctive voice and Southern-rooted songs to live audiences.
