Underground Springhouse are an American jam band from Athens, Georgia, formed by four University of Georgia students, Charlie Haas, Jackson Thompson, Max Motley and Mitch Davidson, who grew a dorm-room project into a full outfit within the city's storied music scene. Their sound is often described as psychedelic indie-funk, roaming freely across genres and leaning on improvisation, segues, mashups and surprise covers. They have released a self-titled full-length album in 2021 plus the EPs Tom Foolery (2019) and I Recall (2023), and their early song 'Joyfell' climbed to several million Spotify streams. As with the jam-band tradition they draw from, their live performances are the heart of the act, each show reworking the material differently so that no two nights sound quite the same.
