Ultimate Fakebook is a power-pop trio from Manhattan, Kansas, that built a cult following through late-1990s albums such as This Will Be Laughing Week, briefly issued via Epic's 550 Music imprint. Splicing Cheap Trick-style hooks with a Replacements snarl, the band split in 2003 but has reunited periodically, touring that landmark record in full for its 25th anniversary.
