About
The Tygerberg-kinderkoor is an internationally acclaimed South African children's choir. Its programme 'n Ode runs from intimate and sacred works through to exuberant, joyous ones, and is built as a celebration of the country's own composers — among them Pieter Bezuidenhout, Franco Prinsloo, Marthie Driessen, Anton Esterhuyse and Michael Barrett. Karina Erasmus conducts, with Elizca Mulder accompanying, and the choir is joined by Marlene Cerfontyne on violin, Lize Jansen van Vuuren on flute, Schalk Joubert on bass and Schalk Wasserman on percussion.
