The Rivertones

The Rivertones are a South African reggae band based in Cape Town, founded in 2006. Their lineup has included Roland Geoffrey Nair (guitar and lead vocals), Mzamo Rintsana (bass and vocals), Christiaan Masamba (keys and vocals) and Diego Masamba (drums and vocals). They blend Bob Marley covers with original roots reggae and a message of 'one love', and are a regular fixture at festivals, theatres and restaurants around Cape Town. Frontman Roland has performed with The Wailers, and the band served as a support act for UB40's South African tour.
