The Parlotones

The Parlotones are one of South Africa's most internationally successful rock bands. Formed in Johannesburg in the late 1990s and fronted by Kahn Morbee, the group rose to prominence in the 2000s with a polished, anthemic indie-rock sound and hits such as 'Beautiful', 'Push Me to the Floor' and 'Life Design'. They became one of the country's best-selling rock acts, won multiple South African Music Awards, and toured extensively abroad, including the US and Europe. Known for their theatrical, high-production live shows, The Parlotones have released numerous albums and remain a flagship South African rock export and a popular live attraction.
