THE HARA are an English rock band from Manchester, formed in 2017 by Josh Taylor on lead vocals, Zack Breen on guitar and Jack Kennedy on drums — all three had been at BIMM Manchester at the same time without meeting until after they graduated. Their first EP, No Regrets, came in 2018, and Play Dead reached number one on the iTunes chart across all genres in 2020. They went viral on TikTok in 2021, played Download Festival, Reading and Leeds, Tramlines and Slam Dunk, and took We All Wear Black to number three on the UK Rock & Metal albums chart in 2022. Their debut album SURVIVAL MODE followed in April 2023 via Scruff of the Neck, after a US live debut at SXSW.
