About
The Cleverlys are a comedy and bluegrass act that began in the Ozark Mountains and now headline festivals and performing arts centres around the country, appearing regularly on the Grand Ole Opry stage. The line-up is Dr Digger Cleverly on guitar, Steven Tyler Dale on banjo, Plug Cleverly on bass, Sock Cleverly on fiddle and Ziggy Cleverly on mandolin, all singing. Rolling Stone Magazine called the comedy "a hybrid of Homer and Jethro and the office", and the New York Times wrote: "If Dolly Parton, Earl Scruggs, and Spinal Tap spawned a litter of puppies, it would be The Cleverlys."
