The 4411

The 4411 are an American indie-folk-rock band from Austin, Texas, founded by lifelong friends Cogan McBride on vocals and drummer Tomas Gerlach, later joined by lead guitarist Alan Holmquist and bassist Nick Speer. Their music pairs story-driven lyrics with acoustic textures and hook-filled choruses, drawing on the confessional folk of contemporaries such as Noah Kahan. After the two founders moved in together during college, the band released the single "As You Please" and their debut EP We Killed the Sun. That record launched their first tour, which closed with their first sold-out headline show. The 4411 have built momentum through warm, earnest live performances that carry their heartfelt songwriting to growing audiences across the United States.
