About

Teddy Swims, born Jaten Collin Dimsdale, is an American singer and songwriter from Conyers, Georgia, whose music blends R&B, soul, hip-hop and pop. He began drawing fans with cover songs posted on YouTube in 2019 and signed with Warner Records that December. His EP Tough Love (2022) was his first entry on the Billboard 200. The 2023 single "Lose Control" topped the Billboard Hot 100 the next year and preceded his debut album, I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1). Part 2 followed in 2025 and was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards. He performed at Coachella in 2026, the year of The Ugly Tour, which comes ahead of his album Ugly, listed for 2027.
