St. Vincent is the stage name of Anne Erin Clark, an American singer, songwriter and guitarist born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1982 and raised in Dallas, Texas. Working in an inventive art-rock idiom, she has released a run of acclaimed albums including Strange Mercy (2011), the self-titled St. Vincent (2014), Masseduction (2017) and 2024's All Born Screaming. She has won six Grammy Awards, tying the record among female soloists for Best Alternative Music Album, and swept three categories at the 2025 ceremony. Rolling Stone ranked her the 26th-greatest guitarist of all time in 2023.
