Soultasia is a UK live music concert series showcasing four decades of soul and disco from some of the world's most legendary artists. It started in Maldon, Essex in 2021, as the pandemic was finally losing and people were venturing out again: Rose Royce, Jocelyn Brown and Alexander O'Neal were among the artists who welcomed 10,000 festival goers to the launch, the biggest soul party in the South East. Now in its 5th year, Soultasia produces shows all across the UK to massive crowds and intimate audiences, both live and online, with industry leading curation and affordable ticket pricing.

Is Soultasia a festival or a band?
Neither, quite. Soultasia is a promoter — a touring soul and disco show that books the original voices (Rose Royce, Jocelyn Brown and Alexander O’Neal were on the first one) and puts them on in parks, rugby clubs and halls around the UK. It started on Promenade Park in Maldon, Essex, in the summer of 2021, just as lockdown lifted, and 10,000 people turned up.
Who hosts Soultasia?
Ian Reading, the soul DJ, is the official Soultasia host — he’s the voice between the acts at most of their shows.
Where are the 2027 Soultasia dates?
Two are confirmed: Groove Is In The Park at Harlow Rugby Club on Sunday 30 May 2027, and Soultasia London at Morden on Sunday 8 August 2027. Bristol and Watford are promised but undated. The Harlow bill we have so far is Gwen Dickey — the original Rose Royce voice — and Loose Ends.
What time does a Soultasia day run?
The 2026 Harlow edition ran 2pm to 10:30pm on a bank holiday Sunday, which is the usual shape: an afternoon of DJs and live sets rolling into a headliner after dark. Bring something for the grass; the weather is not part of the ticket.
