Slime City are a Scottish band from Glasgow, formed by members previously involved with cult indie group We Are the Physics. Trading in fast, wry, self-aware guitar pop, they built a following through a run of DIY singles with titles like "Dial-up Internet Is the Purest Internet" before stepping up to full-length releases. Their debut album, SLIME CITY DEATH CLUB, arrived in 2023 and reached number five on the Official Scottish Albums Chart, and they followed it independently with National Record of Achievement in 2025. Playful and provocative in equal measure, the band have made a name on the Scottish circuit for energetic, tongue-in-cheek live sets.
