Seb Lowe is an English singer-songwriter, born on 9 July 2003 in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester. He took up songwriting during the COVID-19 pandemic and built an early following by sharing politically minded songs on TikTok. His mini-albums Half-decent (2021) and The Other Half (2022) were followed by the EP Make Me Your National Anthem in 2024. Working in a folk-punk and alternative-folk vein, he cites influences from Sinéad O'Connor and Led Zeppelin to Arctic Monkeys and David Bowie. He played his first Glastonbury Festival in 2022 on the Billy Bragg-curated Left Field Stage, and spent the summer of 2023 supporting Blossoms, Richard Ashcroft and Paul Weller. His live reputation rests on plain-spoken, politically charged songs delivered solo.
