Schalk Bezuidenhout

Pieter Hendrik Schalk Bezuidenhout (born 22 April 1992 in Kempton Park, Gauteng) is a South African comedian and actor. After matriculating at Hoërskool Jeugland, he studied a BA in Drama at the University of Cape Town, earning his honours degree cum laude in 2015. Known for his colourful jerseys and curly hair, he was recognised at the 2015 Comic's Choice Awards, and in 2018 he played Johan Niemand in the acclaimed film Kanarie. He wrote and presented the kykNET series Die Ware Naarheid, and has acted in the South African version of The Office and Recipes for Love and Murder. He is one of the country's most popular touring stand-ups.
