About

Saosin formed in Orange County, California in 2003, and their story is one of departures and returns. Beau Burchell, Justin Shekoski, Zach Kennedy and Anthony Green cut the EP Translating the Name that year; Green departed the following year and Cove Reber took over for the self-titled 2006 debut on Capitol Records and 2009's In Search of Solid Ground. Reber's exit in 2010 pushed the band into hiatus, and 2016's Along the Shadow, on Epitaph Records, marked Green's return. Burchell is the one member who has been there throughout. The post-hardcore sound leans on vocal harmonies and lead guitar built from delays and natural harmonics.
