She first became famous as a glamour model, working as a Page 3 girl for The Sun from 1983 and ranking among the most photographed British women of the 1980s. She then turned to music, and her 1986 debut single 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body)' reached number three in the UK and number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Albums including 'Touch Me' (1986) and 'I Wanna Have Some Fun' (1988) produced further international hits such as 'Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)', and she earned a 1988 Brit Award nomination. She remains a durable draw on the live pop-nostalgia circuit.
