Riskee & the Ridicule are a British grime-punk band from Ashford, Kent, making DIY music since 2011. Frontman Scott Picking's grime-MC delivery drives a sound that fuses punk, hardcore and pop-punk, staking out a self-styled corner of the grime-punk scene. Their albums include Body Bag Your Scene (2019) alongside Blame Culture and Platinum Statue, pairing hard-edged riffs with politically charged, protest-minded lyrics. The band has drawn comparisons to the confrontational energy of The Clash and Minor Threat. They have toured extensively across the UK, Europe and the United States, earning a name on the punk circuit for combative, high-energy live shows that lean hard on Picking's rapid-fire vocal attack.
