Broderick Dornell Smiley, born on 10 August 1968, is an American stand-up comedian, television host, actor and radio personality, best known for prank phone calls in which he disguises his voice and carries a conversation with whoever picks up. He hosts the nationally syndicated Rickey Smiley Morning Show out of Atlanta and its flagship affiliate WHTA. He hosted BET's ComicView for the 2000 season, appeared on Showtime at the Apollo and Def Comedy Jam, starred in the TV One sitcom The Rickey Smiley Show, wrote for Dish Nation, and since 2015 has appeared in the reality series Rickey Smiley For Real.
