Restricted is the stage name of Rhys Sfyrios, an Australian DJ and producer born in Adelaide in 1999. Of Greek descent, he began DJing in his mid-teens and had secured Adelaide residencies by eighteen before breaking through internationally. He works primarily in hardstyle and hard techno, having started out in the Melbourne Bounce scene. His remix of Angus & Julia Stone's "Big Jet Plane" found particular popularity in Germany, and he has released originals such as "Sensation," "Astronaut" and "Sleepless." In 2024 he founded Revive Records and appeared at the Don't Let Daddy Know festival. Restricted has built a following on the hard-dance club and festival circuit, where his high-intensity sets carry the raw, driving sound that defines his releases.
