Rebecca Renee Black, born on 21 June 1997, is an American singer, songwriter, YouTuber and DJ. Her 2011 debut single "Friday" went viral and drew extensive media coverage and a famously polarised reaction — it reached number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 while being panned as among the worst songs ever made. "Saturday" followed in 2013. Her debut studio album, Let Her Burn, arrived in February 2023 to generally favourable reviews, and the EP Salvation in 2025. A second album, Age of the Exhibitionist, is set for release on 4 September 2026.
