Prateek Kuhad, born on 3 March 1990, is an Indian singer-songwriter who makes independent music in Hindi and English and is best known for "Kasoor". He grew up in Jaipur, learned guitar at sixteen and started writing in his late teens, graduated from Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, then read maths and economics at New York University before moving to Delhi to make music full time. He returned to India after graduating and released his self-titled first EP and Raat Raazi in 2013; his debut album, In Tokens & Charms, followed in 2015.
