Pietman Geldenhuys

Pietman Geldenhuys is a South African musician, singer, songwriter, comedian and actor based in Cape Town, also known by the stage names 'Pietman die Skot' and 'Peter Mitchell'. Performing in both English and Afrikaans, his act blends comedy and music around a Scottish persona, mixing Scottish songs with Afrikaans favourites. He has co-presented the kykNET series OppieStoep and appeared on programmes such as Noot vir Noot, and acted in the film 'Die Rebellie van Lafras Verwey' (2017). He is billed as the first South African comedian to perform at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
