About
Phoebe Bridgers is an American singer-songwriter and record producer, born in Pasadena, California, in 1994 and raised there. Her indie folk music typically centres on acoustic guitar and electronic production, with melancholic lyrical themes. A former member of Sloppy Jane, she released her debut solo album, Stranger in the Alps, on Dead Oceans in 2017, followed by Punisher in 2020. In 2018 she formed the supergroup Boygenius with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, and in 2019 she launched Better Oblivion Community Center with Conor Oberst. At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards she won for her work with Boygenius and for "Ghost in the Machine" with SZA. After a break that ran through 2024 and 2025, she released her third album, Lost Weekend, on August 14, 2026, and set out on The Lost Tour of North America and Europe.
