Perry Maysun is an American alternative hip-hop artist from New York, born Hudson Geller, whose introspective music grapples with mental health, substance abuse and existential struggle. Prolific and restless, he pushes rap's boundaries across a catalogue that has drawn comparisons to Earl Sweatshirt and JPEGMAFIA and gathered more than 25 million streams. His resilience underpins the story: diagnosed with the bone cancer osteosarcoma in February 2024, he continued releasing music through chemotherapy — including five albums that year — before ringing the bell as cancer-free that October.
