The Oz Noy Trio is led by Israeli-American guitarist and composer Oz Noy, born in Rishon LeZion in 1972, who performed in Tel Aviv before relocating to New York City in 1996. In a trio format he channels a restless fusion of jazz-rock, blues and funk across a catalogue that includes Ha! (2005), Fuzzy (2007), Twisted Blues Vol. 1 (2011) and Fun One (2024), collaborating over the years with players such as Will Lee, Anton Fig and Dave Weckl. Guitar Player magazine named him Best New Talent in 2009 and Best 'Out There' Guitarist in 2013. A fixture of New York's instrumental scene, Noy held a long-running weekly residency at the Bitter End and has performed regularly at the Iridium since 2005.
