Oxide & Neutrino are a British UK garage duo from London, comprising Alex Rivers (Oxide) and Mark Osei-Tutu (Neutrino), who emerged in 1999. Affiliated with the So Solid Crew collective, they scored an immediate landmark with "Bound 4 da Reload (Casualty)", which entered the UK Singles Chart at number one in April 2000 and famously sampled television themes and dialogue from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The follow-up "No Good 4 Me", featuring Megaman, Romeo and Lisa Maffia, reached number six the same year. Their gold-certified 2001 debut album Execute peaked at number 11, with 2002's 2 Stepz Ahead going silver. Rooted in the garage scene, the pair remain tied to that era's high-energy club and rave culture.
