Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show are an American string band formed in 1998 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, before settling in Nashville. Founders Ketch Secor and Chris Fuqua channel old-time, folk, bluegrass and Appalachian traditions with punk-rock intensity. Their signature song, "Wagon Wheel" — completed by Secor around a Bob Dylan sketch — went platinum and became a modern standard after Darius Rucker's hit cover. The band won the Grammy for Best Folk Album for 2014's Remedy and took an earlier Grammy for the Big Easy Express documentary. They were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2013. Renowned for rowdy, high-energy shows that lean on fiddle, banjo and harmonica, they are a fixture of the Ryman Auditorium, where their New Year's Eve residencies have become a Nashville tradition.
