Not For Radio is the solo project of María Zardoya, best known as the lead vocalist of the indie-pop band The Marías. Conceived as a more intimate, lovelorn outlet distinct from her main group, the project released its debut album, Melt, in October 2025, which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard 200. The record was recorded at Flying Cloud Recordings in early 2025 with producers Sam Evian and Gianluca Buccellati, trading The Marías' lush arrangements for a hushed, celestial sound. Zardoya followed it with an extended play, Bloom, in April 2026. As a live proposition Not For Radio carries her established reputation as a magnetic, softly commanding frontwoman into a stripped-back, more personal concert setting.
